Comme il n\u2019y a pas assez d\u2019argent dans le syst\u00e8me pour r\u00e9mun\u00e9rer tous les producteurs de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale, les producteurs re\u00e7oivent une compensation en fonction de la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 qu\u2019ils fournissent.
