Le m\u00e9lange m\u00e9canique consiste \u00e0 m\u00e9langer les polym\u00e8res en appliquant des forces de cisaillement, telles que l\u2019extrusion ou le m\u00e9lange dans un m\u00e9langeur batch. Cette m\u00e9thode convient au m\u00e9lange de polym\u00e8res miscibles mais n\u2019est pas efficace pour les polym\u00e8res immiscibles. Une autre m\u00e9thode souvent utilis\u00e9e est celle bas\u00e9e sur la chimie.   <\/p><p>Les m\u00e9thodes de m\u00e9lange des polym\u00e8res bas\u00e9es sur la chimie incluent la compatibilit\u00e9 par copolym\u00e9risation par gradient, le m\u00e9lange r\u00e9actif et le compositing. La compatibilisation par copolym\u00e9risation par gradient consiste \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un copolym\u00e8re en blocs dans lequel les deux blocs ont une plage de composition qui fait le lien entre les deux polym\u00e8res. Le m\u00e9lange r\u00e9actif consiste \u00e0 ajouter un agent chimique qui r\u00e9agit avec les cha\u00eenes polym\u00e8res pour cr\u00e9er des liaisons chimiques entre les polym\u00e8res.
