A worker in a yellow hard hat and blue uniform is inside a large, shiny blue industrial tank. A giant white mixing impeller is suspended above them, attached to a vertical shaft. The worker holds a safety rope and looks upward, surrounded by smooth tank walls.

Requirements for mixing and reaction processes strongly depend on product characteristics such as viscosity, density and phase composition.

Jongia, as part of De Dietrich Process Systems, offers the OptiMix® reactor as an advanced solution within its mixing technology portfolio. This glass-lined reactor design significantly enhances both mixing performance and heat transfer.

By integrating three baffles directly into the vessel wall, an optimized flow pattern is created, resulting in improved circulation, reduced mixing time and enhanced mass transfer.

Compared to conventional reactor designs, the OptiMix® concept minimizes dead zones and prevents vortex formation. This leads to a more homogeneous product, reduced material loss and improved overall process efficiency.

In addition, all nozzles remain available for process integration, instrumentation and cleaning systems. This offers maximum flexibility and simplifies the installation of sampling devices, spray balls and other process components.

The reactor is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor in the bottom head, enabling accurate measurement and control of even very small volumes. Combined with the DD3009 glass lining, this ensures excellent corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.

The OptiMix® reactor can be equipped with a GlasLock® agitator and is fully compatible with standard DIN reactor configurations. Components are interchangeable, allowing seamless integration into existing installations.

The OptiMix®-HE (Heat Exchange) version further enhances thermal performance by circulating thermal fluid through the integrated baffles, achieving up to 25% higher heat transfer efficiency compared to conventional systems.
