One of the key innovations in this area is the pinned construction. This design was specifically developed for agitators operating under demanding hygienic conditions, while being fully integrated into the tank.
The pinned construction offers several important advantages. It ensures fast and easy assembly, supports a hygienic design, and minimizes shadow effects thanks to the optimized pin geometry. In addition, the simplified welding process prevents excessive heat transfer into the mixer shaft, helping to maintain perfect shaft alignment throughout its operational lifetime.
What makes this solution particularly powerful is its versatility. The pinned construction is applied across multiple mixing elements within Jongia’s portfolio. For example, the Axial Flow Turbine is available in a pinned version alongside bolted and welded designs, allowing customers to select the most suitable configuration for their process requirements.
It is also applicable to technologies such as our Hydrofoil and Biofoil, where efficient axial flow and hygienic design go hand in hand, and other high-performance mixing solutions within our range.
